This is the last of my vacation haul posts.<br />
<br />
What better way to end than with out favorite players? That's right. I said "our". You know what that means...Ashley gets included in a post!<br />
<br />
You didn't think I'd leave her out, did you?<br />
<br />
I thought it would be difficult to find Mr. James Laurinaitis in Myrtle Beach, SC, but I pulled off the near impossible thanks to searching and asking around.<br />
<br />
Luckily, one of the gentlemen had a dime box of Rams that included some gems that Ashley was proud of.<br />

Oh, not just one scan...</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
And not just common cards...</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I thought the pink towel and gloves was a nice touch. Ashley loves when they add the Breast Cancer Awareness theme to a card of her player so score one for the home team.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Let me preface these next few scans with a confession. I'm 98% sure Ashley's player stash was much better than mine this go-around.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
That doesn't mean I won't show them off anyway. Ha!</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Until I purchased the Total Domination, I had no clue they existed. It's not like Total didn't have enough cards. "Hey! Let's add some parallels!" Great idea genius. (Rant over)</div>

My biggest score may have been the Finest Refractor. Great condition with the protective plastic still in place.</div>

<br />
Admittedly, I probably shouldn't have bought this GU. It wasn't in the best of shape, but I couldn't find it cheaper elsewhere. Why not throw it on the pile?<br />
<br />
One last thing...BROTHER!!!<br />
<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I finally picked up the 2006 A&G Mini of the Hulkster! I was stoked to find it in one of the random boxes...and it cost less than a dollar! SCORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!</div>

<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
So there you have it. My trip in the blogosphere books. Aren't you so glad? Me too. Now, I can show off some cards I've gotten in trades since I got back. Hooray!</div>

Since beginning the process of reorganizing my collection, I've debated the idea of adding a few more players to collecting habits. And after a few minutes searching through nickel and dime boxes, I've decided to make it official.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Time to start up a few new collections! I promise these will last long than Jon Jay and Tyler Colvin did. Why you ask? Because these guys are already retired and can do little to sway my confidence (aside from scandalously admitting to steriods, of course).</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<b>#1 Juan Gonzalez</b></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiMeK6OQV2GxbFY9M4R_fUbdIX18WZYUxufw5NaBrN1yhPHnx8o-RJJ8svK0UShmXNt2rqrm80TtTQubUc-7874JwvRa8Fb9e2KJHHgANcEYeD_ZHNJs8BGPLkJJKbLhj7FjlUEczqimDxc/s1600/vacay+starters+juan+gone.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiMeK6OQV2GxbFY9M4R_fUbdIX18WZYUxufw5NaBrN1yhPHnx8o-RJJ8svK0UShmXNt2rqrm80TtTQubUc-7874JwvRa8Fb9e2KJHHgANcEYeD_ZHNJs8BGPLkJJKbLhj7FjlUEczqimDxc/s1600/vacay+starters+juan+gone.jpg" height="320" width="231" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
When I was a young tike, my dad and I would discuss baseball in simple terms. Did the Braves win? Did the Yankees lose? But I can specifically remember our conversations about Juan Gone partly because that's how we referred to him. Simply, Juan Gone.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Such amazing strength from such a weird stance, a la Julio Franco, who Gonzalez played with in Texas. Sure there is the conversation about PEDs, especially being teammates with Jose Canseco, but Juan entertained me at a young age. For that, I'm grateful. Grateful enough to add him to the Player Collection list.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<b>#2 Magglio Ordonez</b></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgXgMh68Xw-TcsMksf_Z3DQ_5N8rie0fPjCxVfvHIrT5-F9BVxOXiV9u4z4CEygEd-zxOcDNPAVrQ0F3smVkT8ryaUiCZbJgfUNesoUmTDF8sUwf8LldNKGkNBxvVZsMHklBeo_2vKGN1gb/s1600/vacay+starters+magglio.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgXgMh68Xw-TcsMksf_Z3DQ_5N8rie0fPjCxVfvHIrT5-F9BVxOXiV9u4z4CEygEd-zxOcDNPAVrQ0F3smVkT8ryaUiCZbJgfUNesoUmTDF8sUwf8LldNKGkNBxvVZsMHklBeo_2vKGN1gb/s1600/vacay+starters+magglio.jpg" height="222" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Tons of players can be considered a consummate professional: Jeter, Cuddyer, Konerko, etc. We cannot overlook Maggs. Ordonez just went out and played the game the right way. Whether in the South Side or Motor City, Magglio produced and if not for A-Riod would have an MVP award under his belt (2007).</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Maggs may never be honored by the Hall of Fame, but he is welcome here at HOT any time.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<b>#3 Vladimir Guerrero</b></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgAXWUO8Pyj5Ww1fGVTE_alRjBW6XgFys7oNOxIMRLoMbYlndPvRt4OaJRtXzHzoksSIhuwyZ5G4VarVOWVLRCqbz7zcC2GY86zxOIOGzqqbKIVtV58NOL3lVMahGU4ADRViyw2n0cyer2m/s1600/vacay+starters+vlad+1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgAXWUO8Pyj5Ww1fGVTE_alRjBW6XgFys7oNOxIMRLoMbYlndPvRt4OaJRtXzHzoksSIhuwyZ5G4VarVOWVLRCqbz7zcC2GY86zxOIOGzqqbKIVtV58NOL3lVMahGU4ADRViyw2n0cyer2m/s1600/vacay+starters+vlad+1.jpg" height="320" width="229" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Affectionately known in the Byrd household as Vladdy Daddy, Guerrero was amazing to watch at the plate and wasn't too shabby manning the outfield either.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I will never forget the ball Vlad hit in Baltimore that bounced before getting to the plate and blooped it in for an RBI single. Again...AMAZING!</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj2pBKRnAZMgHM41eZXTb-MWqsWXH68503IdsZqFtajaA0SjPMkWlN-Hwf2_ui69jgc1LjXiGO4IHwMY35M8CL3EqAuPT1jpqd7h7qK6247FlP70AXxl4AaczYY5GxlgzK6ny0IUDCXOPwy/s1600/vacay+starters+vlad+2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj2pBKRnAZMgHM41eZXTb-MWqsWXH68503IdsZqFtajaA0SjPMkWlN-Hwf2_ui69jgc1LjXiGO4IHwMY35M8CL3EqAuPT1jpqd7h7qK6247FlP70AXxl4AaczYY5GxlgzK6ny0IUDCXOPwy/s1600/vacay+starters+vlad+2.jpg" height="320" width="228" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
This will sound really biased, but Guerrero is possibly the second most important Expo in franchise history right behind Gary Carter.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
No matter how old I live to be, I will never be able to see enough videos of Vladdy golfing a home run out of any park...EVER!</div>

Last week, I shared the cards I purchased to help complete my set already started. Tonight, friends, I unveil the set I was able to start on my trip.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I talked about how 2013 Finest was possibly my favorite sets from last year. Well, with a 20 cents box in front of my, I was able to put a big hurtin' on this ole set. Twenty-two cards in all with some pretty big names.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
How about Beltre and Doc rocking the throwback unis! I prefer the Rangers power blue over the Phillies. Can't forget A-Gon and Cy Young runner-up Johnny Cueto (not too hard to call that one). Throw in Webster and Odorizzi rookies, and it's a good start.</div>

<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Got some West Coast love in this scan. Kemp, Posey, Tulo and Arenado. Let me just take a second to say, I love the purple Rockies unis!!! Get rid of the black vests and wear these instead. Please?!?!?!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Anyway, Cliff Lee is one of those guys I really want to like, but he's never on a team that makes that possible for me.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Oh, and whatever happened to Bruce Rondon and him as the closer of the future situation? Did it really flame out that quickly. Give the guy a chance. Has to be better than Joe Nathan this year.</div>
<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Rookies and Vets dominate here, though none of these have made anywhere close to an impact on their respective teams. Jered Weaver is sneaky good this year. Did you know he leads the AL in wins with 18? Crazy!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I know the Blue Jays are pretty much out of the race at this point, but could you image where they'd be if Jose Reyes were out as much as he was last year. Probably even worse than your last place Boston Red Sox.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Anthony Rizzo has finally had a breakout year. It's about time, right?</div>
<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
A UT alum, a bird, a PED user, a Trum-bomb and a couple rookies for this scan. The Cards can't really figure out what they want to do with Carlos Martinez. Starter to the pen back to starting. In their defense, maybe he should be a bit more consistent in his appearances. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Did you guess the Tennessee alum? That'd be the knuckler R.A. Dickey.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Here's a couple guys that have spent more time of the deal than the diamond this season. Remember the time when you were afraid when your team played these two. Not so much now.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
In addition to the cards above, I did grab four more Finests at a bit steeper price of $2 apiece. Once you see, though, you'll know it was a good deal.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhu8O_d6wqpkbvTd_ASoEmTLt2jwDDdhcgMGBct4Qs5LVuzec8hH_EKr4SVqHLs3ylsr7IqQBeaCkkbrvfn1lvy6FoYEt2tfvhxrVqy8Gz1yzChlBIY1cLC53hEANKIP4u0RXa2sEH20Lwc/s1600/vacay+set+finest+6.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhu8O_d6wqpkbvTd_ASoEmTLt2jwDDdhcgMGBct4Qs5LVuzec8hH_EKr4SVqHLs3ylsr7IqQBeaCkkbrvfn1lvy6FoYEt2tfvhxrVqy8Gz1yzChlBIY1cLC53hEANKIP4u0RXa2sEH20Lwc/s1600/vacay+set+finest+6.jpg" height="320" width="228" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
See what I mean. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
So there we go. Another set for me to try to finish, but I couldn't pass up the deal especially with the price of a box of Finest! You'd think there was three gallons of gas in that box. Haha! I made a funny! (It's ok to laugh.)</div>

What would a trip to a card show be without filling some gaping holes in my sets? A failure, that's what.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Fortunately, failure is not in my vocabulary...or at least I don't say it loud enough when others are around.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
While no sets were finished in the making of this post, every inch helps.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Here we see a trio of 2012 Topps Chrome. One in the cellar, one in the wild card, and one leading the NL West. Oh, and one <a href="http://www.thekansascitybbqstore.com/products/billy-butlers-hit-it-a-ton-bbq-sauce-22-oz">sponsors barbecue sauce</a>. <b>Cards missing: 10.</b></div>

<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Ok, This is a 25-card set. I should have been done before I started, right? WRONG! These 2011 Elite Extra Editions are hard to come by in person, and when I make an order on Sportlots, eBay or COMC, I don't ever remember to check for these. Whatever. <b>Cards missing: 8.</b></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I wasn't sold on these 2014 A&G Pastime's Pastimes when I grabbed my first taste of them, but they're growing on me. Enough so that I've decided to complete the set. One thing I've proven to myself since 2011 is that I drive myself to finish A&G sets (base, SP, inserts) faster than anything but Flagship base. I've gotten a good start on these, but I'm going to have to catch up on the base. <b>Cards missing: 78.</b></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Admittedly, 1997 Collector's Choice Stick Ems are not a valuable set by any means...but I LIKE THEM! I have since I first laid my 10-year-old eyes on them. Now that I have the means, I must complete the set. <b>Cards missing: 11.</b></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjij73D43TkPsb5BLdPDi9oWX91CHRbtZVKekcBRjY5ayoNMPiGoR7z9IgKowC42G2gKPOQ-hakvm882CFzi4bEel-IDELts-cEXc7XuTkn8nezC5qFeW6n9P2l9CwYhRV-SpdYyeAPL7Tp/s1600/vacay+set+random.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjij73D43TkPsb5BLdPDi9oWX91CHRbtZVKekcBRjY5ayoNMPiGoR7z9IgKowC42G2gKPOQ-hakvm882CFzi4bEel-IDELts-cEXc7XuTkn8nezC5qFeW6n9P2l9CwYhRV-SpdYyeAPL7Tp/s1600/vacay+set+random.jpg" height="296" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Lastly is the hodge-pod of cards from the nickel box I found that I thought I needed, except the Michael Choice. It was a bit more than a nickel. I've need the Famous Chicken for a long time and have seen a few of them to buy. 1992 Triple Play is one of those sets I never remember to check, though.<br />
<br />
By the way, am I the only one who loves the 1995 Score Hall of Golds? Freaking sweet design!<br />
<br />
<b>Cards missing - 1992 Triple Play: 1, 1995 Score Hall of Gold: 97, 1997 Collector's Choice The Big Show: 7, 1998 Score Rookies & Traded: 222, 2014 Donruss Series 1: 6.</b><br />
<b><br /></b>
Not much girth on the set side, but you gotta start somewhere. These are a good a start as any.<br />

Inching closer and closer and closer. That describes the long process for my 2013 Player Collection Project...and by the end of this post you will see exactly what I'm talking about.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
But before we go there, I must show you what I was able to swipe at my card show ventures from Myrtle Beach. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
There are only three parallel sets included in the collection that are numbered. Topps Gold, Topps Heritage Purple Refractor and this...</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh3_E7H0e-4DPhNqNJNkdGbNlqLkJkM-0azJ1o71bIY7YyfbCjjNEFhJFqoRn0LjdBvXkVTuwQgAHV5WlOjvYI7fcKpKxnBtMSj0YlFcd247JPFFn0_QxKNKsisej0HnG0DpW3gZpBwpPVv/s1600/vacay+2013+cespedes+1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh3_E7H0e-4DPhNqNJNkdGbNlqLkJkM-0azJ1o71bIY7YyfbCjjNEFhJFqoRn0LjdBvXkVTuwQgAHV5WlOjvYI7fcKpKxnBtMSj0YlFcd247JPFFn0_QxKNKsisej0HnG0DpW3gZpBwpPVv/s1600/vacay+2013+cespedes+1.jpg" height="320" width="231" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I'm not sure why Topps went from the red-lettering (2006) to gold-lettering (2007) to blue (2009) to blue sparkle (2013), but the Sparkle definitely specific to the Opening Day label and not borrowed from the flagship color pile.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Ahem...</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Hey, look. Weren't we just kinda talking about this design. To be completely honest, I prefer the Target Red to the Walmart Blue. It just looks better. Seeing as how the closest Target is approximately 30 miles away and the Walmart is 3 miles away tops, I get the bigger crop of Blues.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Let me also say, that I enjoy the All-Star and Home Run Derby cards Topps throws into Update. Probably the loner on that one. Oh, well.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Ready for more colors?</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Boom! I do live in the heartland of Rocky Top Country and am a University of Tennessee grad, so this Chrome Orange Hosmer is right up my alley.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>

For the record, I don't have a preference to the Orange or Purple Refractors for 2013. 2012 is a different story, though. You'll have to glance at my Want List to see which I'm referring to.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Blue Sparkle, Walmart Blue, Orange Refractor...what else could I possibly have in store for this post?</div>

Emerald, of course! I'm really torn on the Emeralds. It was a great change of scenery to the parallel landscape, but did it have to be sparkly? Apparently, yes. Let's just say, I like it better than the Orange and Yellow parallels from this year. Quit overdoing the colors, Topps!!!</div>

Overall, I'm at 85.2% complete and scoring a C+ or better on all but one set (I've never liked Bowman Chrome).<br />
<br />
A little research, box searching, eBay perusing and friendly help and I'll be able to finally put this puppy to rest.<br />
<br />
Let me get my John Walsh voice on. Uh hmmm....If you or a loved one have seen or know the whereabouts of any of the missing cards from my set, please contact me at one of the email addresses above, Facebook or Twitter. Thank you and have a great night.<br />

What would a sweet out-of-town card show and card store haul be without a few cards for my Player Collections?</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Terrible. That's what!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
But never fear...got the proof right here! Let's start with Joey Bats.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Love the Gold Platinums and Bowman Hometown! Got a nice addition with the Finest and Allen & Ginter insert. Oh and the Lineage is a Venezuelan back. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">

Is it me, or does the Platinum Sapphire not look ridiculously awesome on this Longoria? Gotta love the oversized A&G, too. It will go great with my Hosmer.<br />

Did some one say Eric Hosmer?<br />

That Upper Deck is one from the Special F/X sets. You know, UD's version of Chrome. Oh, and you can never have enough Gold. Bowman to be exact.<br />
<br />
Those are just the bright spots. Starting to same up pretty good, huh? This is only the knob of the bat, friends.<br />

Very few shops or even shows have a row, box or section dedicated to the boys of Denver.<br />
<br />
Needless to say, if I find a Rockie I want, I snatch it up.<br />
<br />
There were no rows, boxes or section at the card store or show in Myrtle Beach...but there was nickel, dime and quarter boxes that have a few hidden Mile High gems.<br />
<br />
I'm not a huge fan of the 2011 Diamond and Cognac Sparkle cards. That doesn't mean I don't pull out every Rockie I see, though. They just seem to look better.<br />
<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I like Rex Brothers as the Colorado closer of the future, but Walt Weiss is going to have to take the reigns off the big horse once he is 100% healthy, which I feel he hasn't reached yet. At least two of these six are fighting for the 2014 Playoffs (Hammel & Street).</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Let's time-travel to 2013 with this group of Rox.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I'm just going to throw this out there: I can't stand Adam Ottovino or Matt Belisle (not pictured). Every time I watch them come into a game, the lead is gone! And leads are hard to come by in Denver this year, friends. Hopefully Friedrich and Chatwood will break out in 2015 and lead a full-out Rockies assault on the National League.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">

Got my first taste of Bowman Platinum thanks to South Carolina, too. Pretty simple design, but I like it.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
Bowman Hometown and Emerald Update. Not a bad looking De La Rosa and Cook either. Remember the days of Cook and Jeff Francis atop the Rockies rotation? At least we knew they'd be there for their starts.<br />
<br />
I was even able to grab some never-before-seen Rockies for my collection.<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I'm actually working on something similar to a lot of other bloggers and getting at least one card of every Rockies player who appears on the card as a Rockie. Tricky, I know.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Vacation post number uno is complete. Didn't like any of these? Just stay tuned. They're not all Rockies...just mostly. </div>

This time, though, it was not due to negligence or lack of ideas; however, it was because Ashley and I went on vacation. No, we weren't gone for an entire three weeks, but we did have to plan and pack.<br />
<br />
This year our destination was Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, one of the hottest vacation spots for East Tennesseans like myself to visit.<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="275" src="http://beta.costtodrive.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/04/myrtle-beach-sc-map.jpg" width="320" /></div>
<br />
The good news is we were at the beach. The better news is there is a pretty nice card store. The best news, though...THERE WAS A CARD SHOW IN TOWN!!!<br />
<br />
So over the next few days or weeks (probably weeks since I bought a lot!), I will be posting my treasures.<br />
<br />
Getting excited, yet. I'm giddy with anticipation to show you. Be sure to tune in tomorrow to see the first of these diamonds in the sand...(beach reference, gotta love it).<br />

(For now, of course.)<br />
<br />
In accordance with such a joyous occasion, I've decided to change up a few things on the ole homepage. You will notice as you look to the right of this post a new list comprised of all the spreadsheets I've been working so diligently on these past weeks. Any card listed on those sheets are ones I need.<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="200" src="http://www.clipartbest.com/cliparts/aiq/LK9/aiqLK96iM.png" width="200" /></div>
<br />
With the addition of the new box mentioned above, I have taken the liberty of deleting the wants tab from the top bar as all my set wants are listed in the nice box to the right.<br />
<br />
I've also started another box for my "Other Wants". I'm not sure exactly what else will go into said box, but something else will eventually.<br />
<br />
Finally, to the left of this post, you will see that I've added another email address as well as my Facebook profile url and twitter handle. Feel free to add or friend me on either...<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="200" src="http://cdns2.freepik.com/free-photo/thin-left-up-arrow_318-25256.jpg" width="200" /></div>

<div style="text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: left;">
Don't creep on my Facebook page, people! Haha!</div>

Good evening ladies and gents.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
As you will recall (and if not scroll down a ways), I bought a blaster of Allen & Ginter a while back. In said blaster, I pulled a Mini Tim Lincecum hand-numbered /25.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
My first thought after realizing what I had...email Adam at <a href="http://arpsmith44.blogspot.com/">ARPSmith's Sportscard Obsession</a>, who happens to be the biggest Giants fan I know.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
After a few correspondences back and forth, I got this package in the mail.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgfEcAMiWNiEmTl9CC6M2xMzOhDHLOPBpZa0ZvX3HGZhJAgImRFlSC9qdBotUDv4uQnfSbhvSNkWirziJ3dTVMsvXokuBId89hmPfmQCWoaRwB3MqtLrbC52ueBcxBsU9_WdR0QY3mWtHhX/s1600/adam+rockies+present.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgfEcAMiWNiEmTl9CC6M2xMzOhDHLOPBpZa0ZvX3HGZhJAgImRFlSC9qdBotUDv4uQnfSbhvSNkWirziJ3dTVMsvXokuBId89hmPfmQCWoaRwB3MqtLrbC52ueBcxBsU9_WdR0QY3mWtHhX/s1600/adam+rockies+present.jpg" height="320" width="228" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Adam had a few extra 2014 Rockies Archives laying around and sent them my way. Overall, I'm on the fence for this installment. Just not much to get me to get into the set this year. That's not to say I won't still trade for/buy my players and other Rockies, though.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
Along with the Rockies of the present, Adam dropped these in for me as well. I've heard some really good things about Kyle Parker. Here's to hoping we see him with September call ups. Rockies don't have much to lose. On the other hand, I'm not familiar with Tapia. Looks like I've got some research to do.<br />

<br />
One thing it has done is reinvigorate my love for the game. Looking back on these sets, I see players that I had long forgotten. Guys who have been part of my watching and collecting life. Gentlemen who I thought were the next big thing only to turn out to be busts. (I was young and impressionable!)<br />
<br />
In this post, I've like to relive some of those long-lost players who've been uncovered once again.<br />
<br />
As you can guess by my player collections, I have a soft-spot for mediocre second basemen (i.e. Dan Uggla and Freddy Sanchez). It doesn't stop there, though. In the early 2000s, the Braves brought up a young two-bagger by the name of Marcus Giles.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi_aMenMsitcUjIsfudX39jzUKNLxLFOxSfas16eV61eX7oqRPP_rsBq37FzFkuZJ7FgId05oQ53zZZuI6bz46b4dJ3IFlfLEHgH-C2Xdqbn7ZqlUyecA65pJ4O7YIdUqjJ7bS3yFp_2ik7/s1600/marcus+giles.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi_aMenMsitcUjIsfudX39jzUKNLxLFOxSfas16eV61eX7oqRPP_rsBq37FzFkuZJ7FgId05oQ53zZZuI6bz46b4dJ3IFlfLEHgH-C2Xdqbn7ZqlUyecA65pJ4O7YIdUqjJ7bS3yFp_2ik7/s1600/marcus+giles.jpg" height="320" width="231" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
Giles, younger brother of Pirate and Padre great Brian, enjoyed an All-Star season at age 25 in 2003 and finished 18th and 26th in MVP voting in '03 and '05 respectively.<br />
<br />
I remember Giles as a prototypical two-hole hitter. He could get on base, move runners, steal bases or drive in runners. Paired with Rafael Furcal, they were a dynamic duo at bat and in the field.<br />
<br />
Unfortunately, Giles was not able to hang on to the majors long after signing with San Diego for the 2007 season.<br />
<br />
Everyone has one person they love to use in a baseball video game that shouldn't really be that good. Let's turn back the clock to Hardball 95 for my Packard Bell home computer. That player for me was former Baltimore Oriole catcher Chris Hoiles.<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhQd4mx7qMws-6RDC1s90pEWJMsSQcpxRbAlhVAjOS4r_WvMvHD8C3b0af8hmOPfF_znN_IDtoNWf54iP3eEc9XFbNAGLANJi_Jv0bjDaBy6bEclNoKyPEFOnj1zt9hraZYGCkgwRYEAMDL/s1600/chris+hoiles.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhQd4mx7qMws-6RDC1s90pEWJMsSQcpxRbAlhVAjOS4r_WvMvHD8C3b0af8hmOPfF_znN_IDtoNWf54iP3eEc9XFbNAGLANJi_Jv0bjDaBy6bEclNoKyPEFOnj1zt9hraZYGCkgwRYEAMDL/s1600/chris+hoiles.jpg" height="320" width="231" /></a></div>
<br />
For some reason, seemingly every hit to come off Hoiles bat in that game was out of Camden Yards. It was amazing.<br />
<br />
Honestly, that's really my only memory of the durable backstop. Oh, I forgot to mention he finished 16th in MVP voting in 1993 when he batted .310 with 29 dingers and 82 RBI.<br />
<br />
Ok, so I never really liked former Blue Jays and Dodgers outfielder Shawn Green, but that doesn't mean he wasn't any good.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjcI9TBbOlXDDEurfahOSkSfVBvFfKZjQPkv9pT9P8WQ0zQkw7-7d2RGU1wTLcm_2mPLTHww6qlzP39asSHgU4xR_Xy6nhZ5HyfcAtyz1A1YefUyoYOVs3Mx1FMWgYTswHeknNd-XQaGYbz/s1600/shawn+green.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjcI9TBbOlXDDEurfahOSkSfVBvFfKZjQPkv9pT9P8WQ0zQkw7-7d2RGU1wTLcm_2mPLTHww6qlzP39asSHgU4xR_Xy6nhZ5HyfcAtyz1A1YefUyoYOVs3Mx1FMWgYTswHeknNd-XQaGYbz/s1600/shawn+green.jpg" height="320" width="231" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Green, two-time All Star, is most famous for hitting four homers and a double adding up to 19 total bases breaking a 48-year-old record held by Joe Adcock (18). He went on to hit 42 home runs and drove in 114 runs.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
After finishing top-10 in the MVP race in 1999, 2001 and 2002 and Rookie of the Year voting in 1995, Green hung up his spikes in 2013 after his Israeli World Baseball Classic team was eliminated in extra innings by Spain in the 2012 qualifiers. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I'm sure if we all look back to our sets we can find players we've forgotten about long ago but still respect in one way or another. Who's yours?</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>

Some are winners, Red Sox, A's, Tigers. Some are losers, Rays, Dodgers.<br />
<br />
Either way, there are a ton of new faces in new places.<br />
<br />
The biggest, most shocking and lop-sized trade of the day saw the Rays trade ace David Price to the Tigers in a three-team deal with Seattle.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhAsl2hndwI0P5cUw7YMS9iwDuoMrE9xWxuI7UWcRrf8Y9YqsqUPTUweukuNHslE12bDkgLKKUuNbvAgW_q4M7zPF0Bjzga2QBbfGBGQWRjEb6PwLMxpuIJfGTolaMcPx7KIGjKtvDyYebX/s1600/price.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhAsl2hndwI0P5cUw7YMS9iwDuoMrE9xWxuI7UWcRrf8Y9YqsqUPTUweukuNHslE12bDkgLKKUuNbvAgW_q4M7zPF0Bjzga2QBbfGBGQWRjEb6PwLMxpuIJfGTolaMcPx7KIGjKtvDyYebX/s1600/price.jpg" height="320" width="231" /></a></div>
<br />
What did they get in return? Drew Smyly and Nick Franklin. And my question like many baseball fans is...WHY?<br />
<br />
A year-and-a-half of team control left for the 2012 Cy Young winner and all you get in return is a middle of the rotation starter and a backup second baseman? Really???<br />
<br />
Great deal for the Tigers, though. What a rotation! Three former Cy Youngs. Can someone say steal?<br />
<br />
In other news, it looks as though I'll now be collecting a Boston Red Sock. Ben Cherrington sent Jon Lester and Jonny Gomes to Oakland for two-time Derby champ Yoenis Cespedes.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEidzb6v2lWz5UC8YuWRpoQvXbB-SiGdoHbnygK7Sbaxnnfalp7ljvIXj71_6FOBMg4VaoUbBW1ttU6Pr7aQRQPgja9n4MAemUHqym_YJ1NEUOHvACiAeUoWZOff1ihLn3Hz3ou0ZdS2ha7P/s1600/cespedes+chrome.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEidzb6v2lWz5UC8YuWRpoQvXbB-SiGdoHbnygK7Sbaxnnfalp7ljvIXj71_6FOBMg4VaoUbBW1ttU6Pr7aQRQPgja9n4MAemUHqym_YJ1NEUOHvACiAeUoWZOff1ihLn3Hz3ou0ZdS2ha7P/s1600/cespedes+chrome.jpg" height="320" width="231" /></a></div>
<br />
This deal shows that Billy Beane and the A's are in it to win it in 2014 going all-in on pitching to keep up with Detroit. The thing is it will be hard to score runs when you trade one of your power bats.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgIXZHKDjR-2Yz3YIyTxFBtHS6ixT8hQ1Z41xwRhnLCqaF8HZ4_Q8tPOp97mHHjNlIoCW9GoJC2lKImIY65CwJvgNe1wO2vLTmyhSdLo3Ehzln5PVtUjfFfpDX6FyKUWWilABZ-ap8pUboS/s1600/lester.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgIXZHKDjR-2Yz3YIyTxFBtHS6ixT8hQ1Z41xwRhnLCqaF8HZ4_Q8tPOp97mHHjNlIoCW9GoJC2lKImIY65CwJvgNe1wO2vLTmyhSdLo3Ehzln5PVtUjfFfpDX6FyKUWWilABZ-ap8pUboS/s1600/lester.jpg" height="320" width="231" /></a></div>
<br />
The Mariners (Austin Jackson), Braves (Bonafacio & Russell), Marlins (Zach Cosart), Nationals (Asdrubal Cabrera), Orioles (Andrew Miller) and Yankees (Prado & Drew) all improved their teams, if only slightly, while the Blue Jays, Dodgers and Phillies will look back at what could have been.<br />
<br />
One thing's for sure. The stretch-run for the playoffs will be AMAZING!!!<br />
<br />

And it's driving me a little batty but in a good way.<br />
<br />
It's a little maddening, but I've enjoyed it. Just like with complete sets, this project has kept me on my toes looking for the right deals on the cards I need to finish off my binder. It's something I've never done before and is something I may even try again (along with a couple other ideas from other bloggers).<br />
<br />
If you're unaware of what I'm doing, let me inform you. I've taken the base, certain parallels and certain inserts of the players I collect from each major set and formed a binder which I hence named the 2013 Project.<br />
<br />
As it stands today, I'm sitting at <a href="https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0ArKW29I05r99dEUwTW93NldsRmptdE85SDlJOU9SNUE&usp=sharing">84% (603/716)</a> of the collection accomplished, which means I still need help.<br />
<br />
If you or someone you know has spare 2013 singles laying around, please share this post with them. (Ok, I'm not really that desperate, but its worth a shot.)<br />
<br />
Here's the link to my <a href="https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0ArKW29I05r99dG8za01wcGtnLXpaOFYybm1wdy1BdkE&usp=sharing">2013 Want List</a>. It is completely up-to-date, and any help is appreciated.<br />
<br />
<b>P.S. Only 13 1/2 more hours till the trade deadline folks. Here's to hoping your teams get what they need for the pennant push unless you're a Yankees fan (no offense Yankees fans).</b><br />

I've started only two transaction since returning to my full-time blogging status, and I'm ready to send out the packages.<br />
<br />
My trade lists are not totally complete as I'm coming across more to add as I'm "re-inventorying" my cards. Please feel free to check out my <a href="http://homeofthetoddfather.blogspot.com/p/blog-page.html">lists</a> to see if I have anything you need. Be advised, though, my <a href="http://homeofthetoddfather.blogspot.com/p/game-used-autograph-trade-bait.html">game used and autos</a> need to be updated. You can always ask to see if the card you like is still available.<br />
<br />
If you find anything appealing, please let me know and direct me to your trade page either in the comments here or my email. My want list is also not completely up-to-date. Be patient with me, and when I'm done with inventory, the lists will be made available to see.<br />
<br />
I will slowly be making my rounds to different blogs to see if I can help with anything you need as well.<br />
<br />
If you made it this far, let me introduce you to my favorite 80's Hair Band of all time...<br />

However, after witnessing for myself Dan Uggla in a Giants uniform, I feel it's time to say goodbye.<br />
<br />
Goodbye to the three time All-Star Dan Uggla.<br />

<br /></div>
Though your best years are definitely past you and your career with the Braves ended on a sour not, I will still continue to root for you (except against the Braves and Rockies). Being one of the first players I actually watched come through the minors to make something of yourself, you will be forever immortalized in my Personal Collection for years to come.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj6AVGByXAY0L6SwyZ0JjuhyphenhyphenGnWvBLKkquW7dJGeJMl4FjUddbSyJ_FJFdmTP8dmXlAFnDDB7_GtBkZk9bPICB_7QqwKq0ol-Lcl0SYkiJFv5CZj6Ik8OcCa2SFxSSOmPa8nl6tSIeHojqr/s1600/uggla+rookie.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj6AVGByXAY0L6SwyZ0JjuhyphenhyphenGnWvBLKkquW7dJGeJMl4FjUddbSyJ_FJFdmTP8dmXlAFnDDB7_GtBkZk9bPICB_7QqwKq0ol-Lcl0SYkiJFv5CZj6Ik8OcCa2SFxSSOmPa8nl6tSIeHojqr/s1600/uggla+rookie.jpg" height="231" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
And isn't that what all players want out of their careers? Ok maybe a championship or two. Maybe...<br />

<br /></div>
<div>
Remember a few days back when I was talking about reorganizing my cards into my Google Drive. Well, I've been working at it pretty hardcore for the last week. Last night, I came across my 2010 Topps Updates and 2013 Topps Opening Days.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Now, have you ever forgotten you had something only to "re-find" it later on? Haha...yeah. I did that, too. Take a look.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhM39KgrqvKpdbU2mlu362Kbm9i7xDHs4iQcJK4PQBk50kgPAeXlXYuc96X9FpAuazRF036x5xQiYmr4lWv_AjaGZ5vA3-jc5-x1IM_NtoYSpynNy8iR9HCrb7dTTNTWqAQDreWuZLnLpk3/s1600/2010+sp.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhM39KgrqvKpdbU2mlu362Kbm9i7xDHs4iQcJK4PQBk50kgPAeXlXYuc96X9FpAuazRF036x5xQiYmr4lWv_AjaGZ5vA3-jc5-x1IM_NtoYSpynNy8iR9HCrb7dTTNTWqAQDreWuZLnLpk3/s1600/2010+sp.jpg" height="222" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjU6NorxSob1FOzLlMPe5makylouuorcPJnK1MMxMXAtBsr-SP7OK3V8AD0sV38XaUqvM8oIRes6VKuFWCdeNwqwaipkH5r8pTbGrCvzQW91hduY7ANKtBfy855Zq8IOUKT6LpU621Suo4M/s1600/2013+ssp.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjU6NorxSob1FOzLlMPe5makylouuorcPJnK1MMxMXAtBsr-SP7OK3V8AD0sV38XaUqvM8oIRes6VKuFWCdeNwqwaipkH5r8pTbGrCvzQW91hduY7ANKtBfy855Zq8IOUKT6LpU621Suo4M/s1600/2013+ssp.jpg" height="320" width="230" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Can I get some Short Print love?</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
When I started collecting 2010 Update, I was just diving back into the hobby headfirst. I had not a clue what Short Prints and Variations were. All I knew were errors.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Fortunately, my collecting skills have evolved enough to know when I pulled the Opening Day Press Conference SP for Mr. Reyes.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I know you're asking, "Tim, why are you showing these to us now?" Well, friends. It's because I don't want them. Short Print Variations are not my thing (i.e. too expensive). If you want them, please let me know. I'm not going to hold them hostage any longer. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
PLEASE...Take them. (Note: If no one claims them in the next 48 hours, they will be up for auction on Sportlots.)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>

<div>
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: inherit;">You know, I talk often about collecting (this is a card blog) with a tiny shot of wrestling references. One of the things I've not talked about is another of my growing hobbies, painting.</span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: inherit;">It all started one day as I was walking around Hobby Lobby with Ashley. Painting canvases were 40% off, and I saw one that was measuring approximately 3.5 in. by 2.5 in. I bought a couple and thought I could figure out something to do with them. </span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: inherit;">Then it hit me. Logos!!!</span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span></div>
<div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"> <a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi1Si7WQe8-obsPr8M4VwgXobidkODRTAfWHykgw3CY8FVJX6mrRyr9I-BaXAsS3X1QImaZhxekB9eI-otdSlc1R7PoVMz-tPGSoZCYdyjq8A8c9KHnvPfIa6k8V5vx-xflEZd0l2UjKp4i/s640/blogger-image-1397978812.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi1Si7WQe8-obsPr8M4VwgXobidkODRTAfWHykgw3CY8FVJX6mrRyr9I-BaXAsS3X1QImaZhxekB9eI-otdSlc1R7PoVMz-tPGSoZCYdyjq8A8c9KHnvPfIa6k8V5vx-xflEZd0l2UjKp4i/s640/blogger-image-1397978812.jpg" /></a> </span><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhBAdGIFOmSia0cohahwgmBFznYZgaTdmoCzzrIsE-nO3Nm93T7ipEHBvh4M58mAFgnvVtt1swlTZp_KjmKrc_DHI9zB7U9fccc9a0OkfFR0EP0swDXUELsa63py1fmPGFg3VMUesBkNsTb/s640/blogger-image--2139177063.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><span style="font-family: inherit;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhBAdGIFOmSia0cohahwgmBFznYZgaTdmoCzzrIsE-nO3Nm93T7ipEHBvh4M58mAFgnvVtt1swlTZp_KjmKrc_DHI9zB7U9fccc9a0OkfFR0EP0swDXUELsa63py1fmPGFg3VMUesBkNsTb/s640/blogger-image--2139177063.jpg" /></span></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">I could draw the logos and paint them in the teams colors to create my own team collage like you find at Hobby Lobby. </span></div>

In this post...I deliver.<br />
<br />
I've mentioned several times on this blog how important it is to me to have someone that let's me be myself with my card collecting. Never once did I image sharing my love with, well, my love.<br />
<br />
But dating Ashley has been all of the above. Not only does she support me (as long as the money allows), but she partakes in her own version of collecting.<br />
<br />
Cool cards, shiny cards, unique cards. Cards of players she likes, she's watched, she's heard stories about, she's met. Oh and James Laurinaitis and Joe Mauer! That's right. Animal's son and "the cutie".<br />
<br />
So whenever I'm out and about shopping for myself, I always try to sneak a few as a bit of a present for her. This trip to Knoxville was no exception. We've been in there so many times that Eddie knows to stash any stay Laurinaitis cards away because we'll be in soon enough. That was the case this trip.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjlRdAF-SQtUx1nWMVN_I06dPeMZUs3OnUQdRfRRcsrW53KaMpCmZQC1gRjsgKwSl5SZYO-EaCXWOdJHO4ETzm7P_dR55Z8Z3L2RXjl1KmvQPmGk343lwmSH38OT9EFgZTAa7YCRTzNOFYg/s1600/james.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjlRdAF-SQtUx1nWMVN_I06dPeMZUs3OnUQdRfRRcsrW53KaMpCmZQC1gRjsgKwSl5SZYO-EaCXWOdJHO4ETzm7P_dR55Z8Z3L2RXjl1KmvQPmGk343lwmSH38OT9EFgZTAa7YCRTzNOFYg/s1600/james.jpg" height="320" width="228" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Forgive me for lack of football product knowledge, but I was told the top two came from a high-end box break and straight into a draw waiting for me to pick them up. The consensus favorite was the Die Cut from Prestige with the Captain "C", honestly one of the sweetest football cards I've ever seen. </div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
These Joe Mauer cards required a little more digging on my part but well worth the time, effort and price. Shiny high-end and "old school" mini. Right up Ashley's alley.</div>
<br />
I know there are better things to give a woman you love, but why waste a trip if she's into the same thing as you. (Lots of sarcasm there guys. Don't try this at home too often.)<br />
<br />

<br /></div>
<div>
In addition to prowling the likes of eBay and Sportlots, I have recently been frequenting my LCS a little more often. Today's trip was not really planned, but after getting off early enough to make a trip to Knoxville, I decided that it was a great idea to visit Eddie at Sports Treasures. (FYI: If you're ever down this way, look him up. Great stuff for pretty cheap.)</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Luckily, this time around, Eddie had some Allen & Ginter singles laying around. I couldn't pass it up.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhqsyQ3ewZyIh-pI_d9cHZoi0opZzc-PSQCFTsN4FCQn9FrRI3nkYqLoWN5lKXTpw3JZJW18rPGLqqt2WtxZMUE1A4Sgi1W8Vw-ZD8PYmwGJI3Y9JRac2_4lVRVVYR5-ec6mmf_Me-SQueM/s1600/ag+minis.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhqsyQ3ewZyIh-pI_d9cHZoi0opZzc-PSQCFTsN4FCQn9FrRI3nkYqLoWN5lKXTpw3JZJW18rPGLqqt2WtxZMUE1A4Sgi1W8Vw-ZD8PYmwGJI3Y9JRac2_4lVRVVYR5-ec6mmf_Me-SQueM/s1600/ag+minis.jpg" height="144" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Scored these for around $1 apiece. The Hosmer is an A&G back and obviously the Trumbo is the black parallel. I'm in love with this year's design. Am I alone here?</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi10xvj7hiDxuITx8yLkTHB3-KOm3ksc-ILhspLKAUy_9WhUoeecDTR-6nRvrCozrSITnwpGwFnVWqvHWUx3phwGRpfjAn9EZ1cdE3kawmkuBCy9OdT_SB_qMk5MWMBy6RdSq-fi8pGwmQg/s1600/ag+pp.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi10xvj7hiDxuITx8yLkTHB3-KOm3ksc-ILhspLKAUy_9WhUoeecDTR-6nRvrCozrSITnwpGwFnVWqvHWUx3phwGRpfjAn9EZ1cdE3kawmkuBCy9OdT_SB_qMk5MWMBy6RdSq-fi8pGwmQg/s1600/ag+pp.jpg" height="297" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Even the inserts this year are different than normal or at least what I'm use to from A&G. Not sure about the name on these beauties, but who cares? At least they're not a plain white cardstock.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi2sliSCJcjhyk1rZ8UdJ5vQg_ei-Iu8WBzOPwmXFarWPPYPni5LxVJphHQGvNemD7begxfaMalFvgMxU37g_gsAH1VoZJPHtITVWA169KBSZfDxpgUpoPD9i_XuBojfLo_kRhBJ85Qt891/s1600/random.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi2sliSCJcjhyk1rZ8UdJ5vQg_ei-Iu8WBzOPwmXFarWPPYPni5LxVJphHQGvNemD7begxfaMalFvgMxU37g_gsAH1VoZJPHtITVWA169KBSZfDxpgUpoPD9i_XuBojfLo_kRhBJ85Qt891/s1600/random.jpg" height="296" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
If you've read my blog in the past, you know that I hate the idea of high-end cards, but for $2 I couldn't pass up the Cespedes Museum. I actually spent more on the Goldschmidt SP, $3.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiwj1zSK8-D5bc1QBOfqcFwch8dHexjreGlWkxZrU7nFB7cJSiG9qa8ddndU123wPirHiCHMIDVm7bfbgJy7rUF4OttthHOKkRozlSAOIhFRjzNb6bBEvHJb-sY2pW4jq8mYBmy8aSrvagE/s1600/rockies.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiwj1zSK8-D5bc1QBOfqcFwch8dHexjreGlWkxZrU7nFB7cJSiG9qa8ddndU123wPirHiCHMIDVm7bfbgJy7rUF4OttthHOKkRozlSAOIhFRjzNb6bBEvHJb-sY2pW4jq8mYBmy8aSrvagE/s1600/rockies.jpg" height="297" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div>
Finally, what would a trip to the LCS be without a Rockies haul? Arenado SP, high end Cargo, Rosario, and Tulo, and a couple Prizm Tulos. Not much else could be better, except maybe some Heltons I need.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
All in all, a very successful stop. You may see more from this visit in the coming days, though, because I didn't just buy for myself.</div>

<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhpqqB5HJybGalApuyUjaToPP5sS5mqJONA1y9ckoPbozZ6tMFwPofbed5FJ7sPXadaLxTPs_gFCZ4Jt5pgGgZWqIEKkKyWyCQ3mUcn1l2i1qec0AD6pmF5UPdjeMR0LoO3ndC9ywE3hR0g/s1600/ag+baseball+inserts.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhpqqB5HJybGalApuyUjaToPP5sS5mqJONA1y9ckoPbozZ6tMFwPofbed5FJ7sPXadaLxTPs_gFCZ4Jt5pgGgZWqIEKkKyWyCQ3mUcn1l2i1qec0AD6pmF5UPdjeMR0LoO3ndC9ywE3hR0g/s1600/ag+baseball+inserts.jpg" height="320" width="228" /></a></div>
<br />
Well, guess what...I lied.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh2C6h-cEKvu7b1wArsq4zsEpIUZen8rPjcxaIMA2kpMIG6bSCsFM4QroStTJUnJ9q7eAAztJJjBR4Jhyphenhyphens3S0KgtKsHiICMRAJYprkVlScu8ynRtdYMwEY-PE19y20zZX41vR75XTHnvRIJ/s1600/ag+inserts.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh2C6h-cEKvu7b1wArsq4zsEpIUZen8rPjcxaIMA2kpMIG6bSCsFM4QroStTJUnJ9q7eAAztJJjBR4Jhyphenhyphens3S0KgtKsHiICMRAJYprkVlScu8ynRtdYMwEY-PE19y20zZX41vR75XTHnvRIJ/s1600/ag+inserts.jpg" height="223" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
The blaster boxes at Wally World were calling my name as I walked to find a short checkout lane before the start of the All Star Game. Let me just say this about the 2014's: I LOVE the design. So much different, yet staying classy with the new look.<br />
<br />
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>

<br />
If I can keep the price reasonable, I may try again since I'm not getting on the Archives bandwagon this year along with the Fields of Yore inserts (AWESOME, by the way).<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgIycM9KHJXBhxpjLwOhpUFxuKThDq8TXFhOUNYHhklwQ8GsGUgzZqvQFRRDkJ4L9AfE9TZepZ6akxrHvURBOMmhsa4vxLhriClw88-parpSwE5tm-3t6WpJScnY23pM5WeM106J3dh6bMq/s1600/ag+mini+black.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgIycM9KHJXBhxpjLwOhpUFxuKThDq8TXFhOUNYHhklwQ8GsGUgzZqvQFRRDkJ4L9AfE9TZepZ6akxrHvURBOMmhsa4vxLhriClw88-parpSwE5tm-3t6WpJScnY23pM5WeM106J3dh6bMq/s1600/ag+mini+black.jpg" height="320" width="173" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
So here are the parallels and inserts I pulled yesterday. As per normal, my blogger friends get first dibs. I'd be looking for base, inserts and parallels of <a href="http://homeofthetoddfather.blogspot.com/p/pcs.html">these players</a>, or the Fields of Yore inserts except Tiger Stadium #FOY-07.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
See something you like, yet?<br />

<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
In this post, I'd like to celebrate the Cespedes win with a bevy of my favorite Cespedes cards.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
It took awhile for Yoenis to get the gears going in the opening round, but once he did, though, it was over before it started.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Round 1 - 3, Swing Off - 1, Round 2 - 10, Round 3 - 7, Finals - 9 = 30 Home Runs</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Those 30 home runs are fifth most in <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Home_Run_Derby_(Major_League_Baseball)#Most_Single_Derby_Home_Runs">Home Run Derby history</a>. That's 62 bombs in the past two competitions. With that reputation, how would captains not ask Yoenis to blast dingers every year?</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I wasn't even really pulling for Cespedes to win as my family put a friendly wager on Derby contestants. Our names were randomized, as were the contestant's names, and we were matched accordingly. I was paired with Adam Jones.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Who had Cespedes, you ask? That would be my little brother.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
With three of my favorite players in the Derby, I really couldn't complain. So what my brother took my $5. I got to witness as one player won back-to-back Home Run Derbies in the history of the even. I'm good with that.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">

Thanks, by the way.<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I still peruse everyday, though, looking for Todd Helton cards I don't normally see on those other sites and at my LCS. And occasionally, I'm pretty lucky. Take these three beauties for example.</div>

<div>
2006 was the first year I recall Topps beginning to throw a ton of colors into the mix for collectors like us to fret over finding. I will admit that after seeing one of these Chrome Black Toddfathers floating around the 'Bay I had to have one but for the right price. $2.50 sounds like a pretty reasonable price to me.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
It's crazy that the only 2014 Donruss Helton alluding me is the Season Stat Line, but I ended up finding a 2003 Season Stat Line first. I really can't complain, though. It's stunning, and the picture was taken at Turner Field to boot. Sweet.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Oh and it's numbered. 19/30, if you can't make that out. Kinda hard to see.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Now, let's step back into the time machine and head for the present.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjRzZTSDUUG44N4dpfmiAcy3pX7iaaLT327mC-MK9d_bdnDmwZP57Pxznt7uf9Z8EUTkBqHQp66EQ6_Oc4_KIe3tPDQaOfVIlsSqDapJ41XavZml3xIoQ3LuYiugR2nVu1Zze0EGfxCGxjC/s1600/14+helton.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjRzZTSDUUG44N4dpfmiAcy3pX7iaaLT327mC-MK9d_bdnDmwZP57Pxznt7uf9Z8EUTkBqHQp66EQ6_Oc4_KIe3tPDQaOfVIlsSqDapJ41XavZml3xIoQ3LuYiugR2nVu1Zze0EGfxCGxjC/s1600/14+helton.jpg" height="231" width="320" /></a></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
There are another million colors of this bad boy, but the "base" insert was the first I could snatch up. It was even cheaper on eBay than Sportlots after shipping of course. That's insane.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I'll continue to scour the world of FeeBay, as the kids call it nowadays, for those elusive Heltons. I may even find the red and green plaid 2006 Topps Chrome version. If there is such a card. I'll have to get research on that, stat.</div>
<div>

<br />
Then again. Some things are accidental: ending up in West Virginia on the way to the beach, winning the $100 plus on a pair of twos, ordering dinner instead of breakfast at Cracker Barrell.<br />
<br />
With this post, I will introduce you to the "spontaneously accidental rainbows", or SPACRs, in my player collections.<br />
<br />
Here are a few of my mini SPACRs that are a bit odd.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgUmLyNUcLFsv7go2dMl8Qh9vPgGbx-08i3MItyHXPfcIXvUXOCSoOSs4cl-Kla6WEUqfd2I60oSh5aT9jvF3EveJ7qmaRCbjQyUcTcJbOCPh4x_XmR5ldBlQkKgBLtpildnO9_bb9TCDYr/s1600/2008+sanchez+rainbow.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgUmLyNUcLFsv7go2dMl8Qh9vPgGbx-08i3MItyHXPfcIXvUXOCSoOSs4cl-Kla6WEUqfd2I60oSh5aT9jvF3EveJ7qmaRCbjQyUcTcJbOCPh4x_XmR5ldBlQkKgBLtpildnO9_bb9TCDYr/s1600/2008+sanchez+rainbow.jpg" height="147" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
One of the most underrated second basemen of all-time in 2008 Chrome, X-Fractor and Blue Refractor. Love the blue!</div>

Longo in 2011 Chrome, Refractor and Diamond Anniversary Sparkle, or whatever its called. Notice the slight zoom on the Diamond Anniversary Sparkle. Weird.</div>

Now let us pump up the jams for the WCW SPACRs. (Ed. Note: World Championship Wrestling, whose slogan was "Where the Big Boys Play". Kudos if you get the reference.)</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">

<br />
Yet another 2012 rainbow. This time featuring F-squared. Check out the colors just for the Chrome. Boy, an orange or red would sure fill that out nicely.<br />
<br />
Do you have any SPACRs? I've love to see them, no matter the player or team. Send me the pictures or links to my email address or in the comments. Or maybe you can help make my rainbows more colorful? That would be awesomely appreciated. You can drop a line for that, too. I wouldn't turn down the help. Who knows? We might could help each other out.<br />
